A unique 1 kg cast gold bar from the Swiss refiner Valcambi, one of the world’s leading refineries (founded in Balerna in 1961). This piece dates from 1975, and its old cast surface and period hallmarks make it a collectible vintage bar.

The bar carries the individual serial number, matching the original 1975 Valcambi assay certificate supplied with it. This is a single, unique item: the surface shows marks of age and handling that are part of the character of a genuine vintage bar. The bar is made using the traditional casting method

The bar was produced and assayed by the Swiss refiner Valcambi (Balerna). It comes with the original Valcambi assay certificate (Bulletin d’essai, 28 July 1975), which states a gross weight of 1,000 g and a fineness of Au 999.9. This is a single, unique item with its own serial number.

The bar qualifies as investment gold and is therefore exempt from VAT.
